Stillwater Police are searching for a suspect in connection to a robbery of a USPS mail carrier.

Stillwater Police are searching for a suspect in connection to a robbery of a USPS mail carrier.

Police said on Saturday at around 2:07 p.m., they responded to a robbery near North Perkins Road and East 0600 Road.

A U.S. postal worker was delivering mail at an apartment complex in the area when a male suspect approached the worker.

The suspect pointed a gun and demanded the worker’s keys, and the victim complied, police said.

The suspect was described as a male who was approximately 5 foot 7 inches tall and weighing 130 pounds with brown eyes.

Police said they estimated the suspect to be around 16 to 20 years old.

The suspect was wearing a dark colored mask that was partially covering his face as well as a dark long sleeved shirt, dark jogger style pants and shoes with white and blue socks.

Police said the suspect was armed with a black semi-automatic handgun.

The suspect was last seen leaving the area in a 2019 or newer white Toyota Corolla with significant damage to the passenger side.
