Oklahoma City Police Investigating Hit & Run, Chase

Oklahoma City police are investigating a hit and run that turned into a chase on Wednesday evening.

According to OCPD, a suspect was involved in an accident at SE 59th St. and I-35. They then fled from the scene.

Police located the suspect and began a chase that ended with the driver bailing out of the car and fleeing on foot.

The suspect then carjacked an innocent bystander and another chase ensued. That chase ended at SW 59th and McKinley Ave.

The suspect is in custody. EMSA was called to the scene to check out the suspect and the person who was carjacked.
