Remains Of Sand Springs Man Found Decade After His Disappearance

The remains of a Sand Springs man have been found almost 10 full years after he was reported missing says the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office.

The remains of a Sand Springs man have been found almost 10 full years after he was reported missing says the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office.

According to TCSO, a hiker found human remains near Oakcliff Drive in northern Tulsa County on February 15. On Wednesday, those remains were identified at 35-year-old Jarral Ray “J.R.” Osburn by the Medical Examiner’s Office.

Osburn was last seen in Owasso on August 28th, 2012 and deputies say his car was found abandoned in the area of 6510 N Cincinnati Ave the following day.

Deputies say Osburn’s cause and manner of death have not yet been determined.
