Authorities said a driver died and others were injured following a police pursuit that ended in southeast Oklahoma City.
The pursuit began around 2:30 a.m. Saturday in Valley Brook where police there attempted to stop a vehicle for erratic driving behavior. The driver did not stop the vehicle.
The driver accelerated westbound on Southeast 59th Street, ran a red light at the South Shields Boulevard intersection and then collided with two vehicles. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Drivers and other passengers in the other two vehicles were also injured, though the exact number is not yet known at this time. A passenger from one of the other two vehicles was rushed to a hospital in critical condition.
