Police Investigate After Pregnant Woman Found Dead In Chickasha Apartment

A pregnant woman was found dead early Monday at a Chickasha apartment complex, police said.

About 12:15 a.m. Monday, police were called to the Virginia Street Apartments, 1511 South 9th Street.

Two small children ran to a neighbor and said their mother was dead.

Ashley Cannon and her unborn daughter were found dead inside the apartment.

Cannon was three weeks from giving birth to the baby who she planned to call Nala.

No arrests have been made in the homicide.

Police are looking for a person of interest who may be driving a gold color, older Chevrolet Tahoe.
