Man Dies In Late Night Crash Monday In Pawnee County

One man is dead following a late night crash Monday evening in Pawnee County, Oklahoma Highway Patrol Troopers said.

One man is dead following a late night crash Monday evening in Pawnee County, Oklahoma Highway Patrol Troopers said.

According to authorities, the accident took place at 11:17 p.m. on State Highway 48 in Pawnee County.

Troopers said a 17-year-old female from Sand Springs was driving the vehicle during the time of the accident. There was a male passenger, identified as 57-year-old Mark Calibani from Mannford inside the vehicle.

Creek County EMS pronounced Calibani dead at the scene from full body injuries. He was transported to Chapman Black in Cleveland.

The 17-year-old was taken by Creek County EMS to Cleveland Hospital where she was treated and released.

Troopers said the accident was caused by pedestrian action.
