1 dead after being struck by trash truck in OKC

One person is dead after being struck by a trash collection truck Thursday morning in southwest Oklahoma City, police say.

Oklahoma City police responded to where the person was hit near Southwest 12th Street and South Portland Avenue.

South Portland Avenue has been closed in the area while crews work to clear the scene.
