New Hearing Set For Former Kingfisher High Coach After Original Child Neglect Charge Dismissed

A former Kingfisher High School coach is expected in court again after a judge overruled a decision to dismiss charges against him, court documents say.

In June, a judge dismissed the charge against Jeff Myers, saying then that prosecutors didn't offer sufficient evidence that a crime had occurred.

However, a Garfield County District Judge disagreed, overturning that ruling.

Myers is due back in court Aug. 6.
