A local nonprofit studio hosts dance classes that aim to include people of all abilities in the community.
News 9's Jordan Ryan took the Arca Continental Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages Porch to a the Aspiring Attitudes studio to learn more about how they incorporate inclusion, having fun and staying active.
Shannon Wrights, the director of Aspiring Attitudes said many students and their parents use dance in addition to physical therapy, but they welcome students of all abilities.
"We are not a special needs studio that includes typical dancers and we are not a typical dance studio that includes special needs dancers," Wright said. "We are one big group all learning and growing together."
She said one of her students has used dance to help her learn how to walk on her own. She and her little sister take classes together.
"Aspiring attitudes also give sibling groups a chance to do an extracurricular activity together," Wrights said.
