1 Suspect Arrested In NW OKC Human Trafficking Investigation

A suspect has been arrested in a large-scale human trafficking investigation in northwest Oklahoma City, according to the Human Trafficking Unit of the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics.

Feng Jiang was taken into custody on the Oklahoma warrant by the New York State Attorney General’s Office and the New York City Police Department on Tuesday. His alleged accomplice, Jian Lin, is still a fugitive from multiple Oklahoma warrants.

After receiving an anonymous tip alleging sex trafficking occurring at a residential location in NW OKC, OBN HT agents opened an investigation based on the information received. They found that between October 2022 and February 2023, approximately a dozen women were trafficked at a brothel operated by Jiang and Lin.

OBN said evidence from the investigation shows many of the clients of the brothel were managers and administrators of commercial Oklahoma marijuana farms.

In February 2023, five search warrants were executed at locations in OKC, including Jiang and Lin's homes and the brothel. Evidence was collected that further connected Jiang and Lin to the brothel and sex trafficking of multiple women. It was also determined that Jiang continued to traffic prostituted women in Oklahoma while residing in New York.

In September 2023, the Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office Multi-County Grand Jury unit indicted Jiang and Lin on two counts each of human trafficking.

OBN Director Donnie Anderson said their agency is committed to fighting to protect Oklahoma citizens from crimes like these.

“I am extremely proud of the men and women of our agency’s Human Trafficking Unit for working tirelessly over the past year to identify these traffickers and secure these indictments," Anderson said.

Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond commended Oklahoma law enforcement for stepping up to stamp out human trafficking crimes in the state.

"I am pleased that the Multi-County Grand Jury indictments bring us a step closer to a safer community. Feng Jiang is thankfully in custody, and I am optimistic that his alleged accomplice, Jian Lin, will be captured shortly,” Drummond said.
