BUTNER PARENTS & GUARDIANS:
We will be going virtual Thursday and Friday, August 31 & Sept 1. Bus routes will run as usual today. The number of students & staff with confirmed covid have reached a number where the safety of our students and staff is our most important concern.
The school & all classrooms will be disinfected the next 2 days to help ensure a safe return on Tuesday, Sept. 5. There will also be an all-call going out after school to ensure every parent has the correct information regarding virtual days. All sports activities for the remainder of the week will be canceled, as well.
Students will have work assigned in their Google classrooms, as well as learning packets for elementary students to complete. Teachers will be checking emails frequently throughout the day in case any student needs to contact them for help or clarification with their work.
We apologize for any inconvenience, but the safety & health of our students and staff are of utmost importance during this time. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding! We hope everyone stays healthy and gets to feeling better during this time. Packets for students who have already went home sick can be picked up at the office tomorrow, Thursday Aug. 31 between 9:00 - 12:00.
