DC's New Movie Brings First Latino Superhero To Big Screen

DC’s latest film Blue Beetle has crawled onto the big screen.

‘Blue Beetle’ stars Xolo Maridueña as Jaime Reyas, DC’s first Latino superhero, who’s Mexican-American family helps him after a scarab from outer space takes over his body.

The film celebrates Latin American cultures with a Mexican screenwriter and Puerto Rican director.

The movie is now in theaters nationwide.
