Fire Destroys Playground At Enid Elementary School

A playground fire that destroyed several pieces of equipment at an Enid elementary school is under investigation.

Firefighters responded to McKinley Elementary School Saturday night around 10 p.m. The fire spread to woodchips in the playground.

Surveillance video shows two girl collecting things from the trash and stacking them shortly before the fire.

School officials said classes would resume as usual on Monday.
