Capps Middle School Closed Due To Threat

James L. Capps Middle School in Warr Acres has been closed Tuesday due to a threat to the school, according to district leaders.

Putnam City Schools said they were made aware of a threat on social media directed at Capps Middle School.

The district said the decision was made to close the school after consultation between our campus police and "several local law enforcement agencies."
