Matt Hinkle Wins Runoff Election For Ward 5 In Oklahoma City

On Tuesday, Matt Hinkle was elected to represent Ward 5 in the runoff election for Oklahoma City Council.

Hinkle is set to be sworn into office on May 2 and will serve for four years.

The election results aren’t official until they are certified by the Oklahoma County Election Board.

The Oklahoma City Council is made up of nine members, including the mayor and one member from each of Oklahoma City’s eight wards.

The next election for Wards 1, 3, 4 and 7 will be in 2025 with the mayor election being in 2026.
