Metro Advocacy Group Plans Protest At Oklahoma Co. Jail Trust Meeting

The People's Council for Justice Reform, a metro advocacy group, said they’re planning to protest at the Oklahoma County Jail trust's monthly meeting Monday afternoon.

The group is calling for the trust to be dissolved.

This comes after a grand jury investigation recommended the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office take over operations at the Oklahoma County Detention Center.

The meeting takes place at 1 p.m. at the Oklahoma County courthouse.
