President Biden Declares Monkeypox National Health Emergency

The health emergency means the government will release federal funding and resources to fight the virus.

There are 11 confirmed cases in Oklahoma. Oklahoma is being given 1,400 vaccine doses, and the state says those will be given based on exposure.

Across the nation, the CDC is monitoring more than 7,000 cases of monkeypox.
