IRS Warns Of Scamming Attempts

The IRS is warning Americans of scam artists posing as them to take advantage of others.

The IRS wants to remind people they have never demanded payment, or asked for credit or debit card information over the phone.

Agents will also never try to reach you through text or social media.

If you've been involved in a scam or have gotten a tax phishing email, report it to the IRS immediately.
