Another afternoon in the 90s is expected Wednesday, with the heat index closing in on 100 degrees.

Winds will be up Wednesday and many areas will see gusts up to, near or above 30 mph.

You will also notice the dusty atmosphere! Saharan dust moves over the state this time of year.

It travels from north Africa across the Atlantic, through the Caribbean, into the Gulf of Mexico and then up across the state.

We will have this dust in the sky through at least Friday!
