A metro massage parlor is under investigation for a third time after police received complaints of employees making sexual advances to customers.
Back in March of 2022, Balance Massage temporarily closed following two similar investigations.
“Again, numerous complaints inside the massage parlor,” said Sgt. Dillon Quirk, with the Oklahoma City Police Department.
Four months and several arrests later, Bethany Police called the OCPD VICE Unit for assistance again.
“At some point during the massage the employee attempted to perform a sexual act on the officer,” said Quirk, about the last undercover operation.
This time, the two employees involved were taken into custody and booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center.
“Arrests were made, a search warrant was executed inside, and items were seized,” he said.
Police said they collected a DVR drive, cash, and notebooks from the scene.
“We do our part in that we go in and make arrests when we receive complaints. This is something that obviously helps us when we receive tips, and we won’t leave tips unanswered,” said Quirk.
Both suspects in this case were arrested on one complaint of violating state statute & engaging in prostitution.
“If we keep getting complaints we will respond and make arrests as long as we need to,” he said.
As for what’s next for Balance Massage, OCPD said each time they conduct the investigation and present it to the DA but they don’t have the power to shut the business down.
For the time being Balance Massage remains open.
