Pottawatomie County Deputies End Standoff With Suspect In Custody

Pottawatomie County deputies said a suspect is in custody after a Wednesday afternoon standoff in McLoud.

The standoff happened at a house near N3300 Road, just south of Interstate 40.

According to the Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Department, the suspect was alone in a house firing shots.

A negotiator arrived on scene and began talking with the suspect.

The suspect then came out of the house with the gun and a gun belt. He placed the gun on the hood of a car and was arrested.
