Oklahoma Driver Sentenced In Crash That Killed 4 People In 2020

Ashley Ricks has been convicted after pleading guilty on four counts of manslaughter in the first degree after being involved in a crash in 2020 that left four dead.

Ashley Ricks has been convicted after pleading guilty on four counts of manslaughter in the first degree after being involved in a crash in 2020 that killed four people.

Ricks will serve 30 years in custody of the department of corrections.

The crash happened on Interstate 40 on October 17, 2020.

Ricks was driving eastbound in the westbound lanes of I-40 approximately 3.5 miles west of El Reno at around 1:30 a.m. when she crashed head on into another vehicle, killing all 4 occupants of that vehicle.

Ricks survived the crash and was taken to OU Medical Center.
