Carver Middle School In Tulsa suspended in-person learning on Friday due to staff absences.

According to school leaders, students will need to use their Chromebooks to log into Canvas to stay on track.

"Students will have the opportunity to participate in real-time virtual interactions with their teachers and classmates for a 30 minute class period," said Carver Middle School in a message to parents.

The school will still provide breakfast and lunch meals free of charge to all Carver students and says a grab-and-go meal service will be available at the school from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. All scheduled athletic events will continue as planned.

Classes will resume on January 4, 2022.
