Car Recovered From Pond In Tulsa Neighborhood

Crews recovered a car from a pond in a Tulsa neighborhood.

Workers found the car in the pond at Minshall Park near 71st and Sheridan this weekend while draining the pond for maintenance. It was towed out of the pond Monday afternoon.

Police said it wasn’t stolen and they didn’t see anything suspicious inside but will continue with a more detailed examination.

Officers said it ahs likely been there for a long time. The car’s tag expired in 2010.
