Heartland Middle School Briefly Placed On Lockout After Threatening Call Friday Morning

Heartland Middle School in Edmond was briefly placed on lockout Friday morning after a caller made a threat to harm the school.

According to an email sent out by the school, the caller appeared to be a child and the threat was deemed non-credible.

As a precaution, the school was placed on a lockout and students were kept inside for recess.

Police will remain at the school today out of an abundance of caution.
