Police: Bomb Techs Respond To Edmond Home, No Threat To Public

The Edmond Police Department sent out bomb technicians to a housing edition near E. Danforth Rd. and N. Coltrane Rd. Wednesday evening.

Authorities roped off the area as they worked to properly dispose of something that was placed in a homeowner’s mailbox.

Authorities said this was a possible prank and do not believe the item is a threat.

The homeowners were not at the residence, police said.
