Construction on the Folds of Honor's new headquarters near Owasso hit a major milestone on Wednesday.
The new building at the Patriot Golf Club placed its final beam of the organization's first permanent office space. The donated building will be used for the day-to-day operations that help supply scholarships to military families who have paid the ultimate sacrifice.
"It is such a blessing to make it to this point and to celebrate topping off the folds of honor headquarters and really what it represents," said Folds of Honor Founder Lt Col Dan Rooney.
Folds of Honor is expected to provide scholarships to about 400 Oklahoma families this fall.
