1 Fatally Shot At Cannabis Shop In SW OKC

One person died after being shot early Sunday in southwest Oklahoma City, police said.

The shooting happened shortly before 4:45 a.m. at Stability Cannabis Shop, 1045 S Meridian Avenue.

Officers found one victim, 39-year-old Jobe Bicksler, at the scene.

Bicksler was taken to a local hospital where he died.

Investigators said Bicksler entered the business and was refused service. He tried to re-enter the store later but encountered a security guard.

After a verbal exchange, Bicksler produced a knife and the security guard shot him, police said.

So far, no arrests have been made. The security guard was not identified as of Monday afternoon.
