Some Norman residents are being asked to adhere to a boil advisory due to E. Coli in the drinking water, according to the City of Norman.
The Norman Public Water Supply said the advisory applies only to customers in areas north of Robinson and east of Flood.
Customers in these areas are being asked to use water thar has been “brought to a full, rolling boil for at least a minute, bottled water or water from another acceptable source.”
The boil advisory will remain in place until two consecutive days of water samples are negative from bacteria. Residents will be notified when the water is once again safe to consume.
