Police said two people have been arrested in connection to a body found at a northwest Oklahoma City apartment complex.

According to authorities, officers responded to a call around 10 a.m. Monday about a body found at an apartment near Northwest Expressway and North Council Road.

Officers located the body of a 22-year-old man inside the apartment.

Investigators said they received information about two possible suspects, 20-year-old Jacob Montez and 21-year-old Jordi Olvera, and arrested them.

Following the investigation, officers learned that the suspects broke into the victim's apartment and shot him multiple times. The victim was also stabbed and a finger was removed, police said.

Montez and Olvera were booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Facility on complaints including first-degree murder, first-degree burglary, and desecrating a human corpse.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Homicide Tip Line at 405-297-1200.

This is a developing story.
