Motorcyclist Dies After Crashing Into Semi-Truck On I-35, Troopers Say

Oklahoma Highway Patrol Troopers said a motorcyclist died after crashing into a semi-truck Tuesday morning on Interstate 35.

Trooper said the crash took place just after 1:30 a.m. on I-35 southbound at Northeast 23rd Street.

The motorcyclist, 26-year-old Michael Thornton was driving southbound on I-35 at a high rate of speed when it crashed into the semi-truck, troopers said.

Thornton was pronounced dead at the scene.
