Okla. To See Chance of Showers, Possible Severe Storms Tuesday

Oklahoma will see a chance for showers through midday and possible severe storms Tuesday afternoon and evening.

Look for morning rain to taper off and move to the east.

Oklahoma City will dry out and warm up into the 80s and low 90s. The heat index will be in the mid 90s.

More storms are expected to fire up Tuesday afternoon. These storms will be in the southeast and will likely be severe.

Tuesday afternoon and evening, storms will be capable of large hail and damaging winds. Some areas could see localized flooding as well.
