Linde Oktoberfest Canceled For 1st Time Due To COVID-19 Pandemic

Officials announced on Friday that the Linde Oktoberfest is canceled for 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Officials said this is the first time since it began in 1979.

Officials said they decided to not hold the 2020 Linde Oktoberfest due to increasing concerns associated with the spread of COVID-19.

Linde Oktoberfest was originally scheduled for October 22-25.
