Family-owned business Andy Alligator’s in Norman said it will remain closed in the wake of COVID-19.
On Facebook, the business owners said if they open up now after COVID-19 shut it down for months, it could have a lasting impact on their family business.

The owners said because of the coronavirus and the closures that come along with it, they’ve lost out on business from Spring Break and School Field Trip Season.
According to the Facebook, the owners have lived in Norman for 35 years, raising their children and grandchildren there. They said they’re saddened to see what’s happening to small businesses in their town.
Many customers have commented on the businesses’s Facebook page, asking when it will reopen. So far, the owners say that’s up in the air.
Norman just entered phase three of its reopening plan, two weeks behind Oklahoma City.
So far, Cleveland County is at 576 COVID-19 cases and Norman is seeing 270 of those.
