'Poetry And Chill' Continues Virtual Open Mic Nights

The local non-profit Poetry and Chill is giving the entire OKC community a way to express their feelings.

Local non-profit Poetry and Chill is giving the entire OKC community a way to express their feelings. 

The founder, Gregory II, is hosting virtual open mic nights and workshops on Instagram.The events were moved online due to COVID-19, but now Gregory is making sure they continue.

"We are all on social media," said Gregory. "People are seeing this stuff. There's so many videos of black people being killed, black people being mistreated. So that platform to express themselves is very important."
