CHANDLER, Okla. (AP) -- The stepfather of a 2-year-old Meeker girl who died last October pleaded not guilty Wednesday to charges of first-degree murder and child sexual assault.
Michael Porter is charged in the death of 2-year-old Kelsey Smith-Briggs who prosecutors say died after being hit in the stomach by Porter.
Porter remains free on bond and no trial date has yet been set.
