Del City Bridge Closed Indefinitely Following Crash

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) has closed the Scott Street bridge in Del City after a pickup truck slammed into the guard rail and nearly crashed onto the interstate below.

ODOT crews are working to repair the bridge, but say they don't know when it will be reopened.

Del City police say they received a call just after midnight Friday about a truck dangling off the bridge above Interstate 40. When officers arrived a few minutes later, the driver was gone. It appeared no one was hurt in the crash.

Police are still looking for the driver of the pickup.
