You'll forget what season it is again this weekend as temperatures soar above normal.

We'll be close to a record high in OKC this afternoon. The old record is 76° set in 1937. I have a high of 74° in the forecast. We shall see! The rest of the state will be warm as well with highs in the 60s, 70s, and even some 80s in the panhandle.

Fire danger will be a big concern again today with southwest winds at 20 to 30 mph. Fire danger stays highs tomorrow with highs about where they are today. North winds tomorrow will be strong again at 15 to 25 mph.

Looking into next week, we'll start in the 70s on Monday and Tuesday before a storm system bring a brief shot of cooler air on Wednesday and Thursday with a very slight chance of rain Wednesday afternoon. We'll warm back up at the end of the week before a second storm system brings yet another chance of rain early the following week.

We badly need the rain, so here's to hoping these next two storm systems can help with that even just a little!
