One person shot in Midwest City

MIDWEST CITY, Okla. - Midwest City police are investigating a shooting that sent one woman to the hospital Sunday night.

The shooting took place shortly after 9 p.m. near the 7800 block of NE 10 Street, police said.

According to police the victim was in her car near Bradford Drive when the bullet went through a windshield and hit her in the head.

Police said they are still searching for the gunman they believe was possibly driving a white mini-van.
