UPDATE: Missing Norman Man Found In Texas, Silver Alert Canceled

UPDATE: NORMAN, Oklahoma -- A missing 81-year-old man has been found in McKinney, Texas, following a traffic accident.

The Norman Police Department issued a Silver Alert for Olen Hicks after he disappeared Wednesday morning.  He was last seen leaving Noble.

On Thursday, September 8, around 1:15 a.m., Hicks was involved in a traffic collision in McKinney.  He was not hurt.  His family was notified and they are traveling to Texas to bring Hicks home.

NORMAN, Oklahoma -- The Norman Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for an 81-year-old man missing since Wednesday morning.

Police reported Olen Hicks was last seen leaving 5451 60th Ave., S.E., in Noble at 10 a.m. Wednesday.

He was wearing a ball cap and blue jeans and was driving a white, four-door, 2002 Pontiac Grand Am with Oklahoma license plate 622ABZ.

Police said the subject stated he was going to Dolese on South Sunnylane and never arrived and has not been seen since.

Police said Hicks is an Alzheimer's patient and is without his medication.
