Crews Battle Grass Fire In NW OKC

Crews doused a small grass fire near the Kilpatrick Turnpike in northwest Oklahoma City, Thursday afternoon.

Firefighters were called to the area, located at 14001 Quail Springs Parkway, near May and Memorial Rd. at around 2:20 p.m.

The fire was not very large, and was in an area that was of no danger to surrounding buildings.
