Crews Contain Grass Fire North Of Edmond

Firefighters have contained a grass fire just north of Edmond, Wednesday afternoon.

According to the fire department, at about 2 p.m., crews responded to a grass fire at Charter Oak and Portland.

Just before 3 p.m., firefighters were able to contain the fire to several hay bales in the area.

Crews from Cashion and Deer Creek fire departments responded to the fire.
