Several search warrants were filed Wednesday against two men accused of computer and credit card crimes.
This investigation began in December 2015 near Edmond Road and Fretz Avenue in Edmond when police pulled over a pickup for making an illegal U-turn.
The driver was 31-year-old Yonal Hernandez, according to court documents.
Police searched the vehicle and found a marijuana grinder with weed inside and an "unusual amount of monetary gift cards."
Detectives later learned seven of those cards had been altered with different magnetic strips.
An officer said he also found three small keys in the vehicle, one of them opened a gas pump at the Shell station that used to be near Danforth and Bryant and a skimmer was inside.
Apparently, Hernandez had been renting a room at the Comfort Inn near NE 122 Street and Interstate 35 along with 23-year-old Pedro Bencosme, who police said was using a fake identity.
Court documents also said Bencosme had been hiding three card skimmers in his groin area.
A search warrant inside their hotel rooms seized a card reader, embossing machine and a laptop, according to police.
Both are in the Oklahoma County jail on $100,000 bond each.
