Two suspects have been arrested in connection to a card skimming investigation in Edmond.

According to a report issued by Edmond Police, officers arrested 33-year-old Maikel Valdavia Fernandez and 39-year-old Maykel Garcia Gutierrez Thursday night, after loss prevention workers at a Moore Wal-Mart spotted the men using “techniques similar to cloned card thieves”.

Both men were arrested and booked into the Cleveland County Jail for identity theft. Edmond Police are expected to present charges of Possession of Cloned Cards against the two.

Earlier this week, Edmond Police officers discovered three card skimmers at a Circle K gas station on 15th St. and Broadway.
