Man on moped dies after being hit by vehicle in Ottawa County

A man is dead following a crash in Ottawa County, authorities say.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said it happened Thursday afternoon about three miles north of Quapaw.
Troopers said a woman drove through a stop sign and hit Ricky Wilson, 33, who was riding a moped along East 20 Road near Highway 69.
OHP reports that Wilson was not wearing a helmet, and he died at the scene.
The other driver was taken to a hospital in Joplin, Missouri.
