A series of free workout classes have returned to Guthrie Green in downtown Tulsa. Fitness on the Green is a popular weekly program that runs through October. The workouts are fun, accessible, and about an hour long.

Fitness on the Green Schedule

  1. Sunday Zumba with Ariane - Sundays from 10:30-11:30 a.m.
  2. Monday Zumba - Mondays from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
  3. Yoga - Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
  4. Barre - Thursdays from 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Stay Active, Meet New People

Fitness on the Green is free and open to the public. Tess Mack has been one of the instructors for the last 8 years. "Whenever we are in class, it does not even feel like we are working out," she said. "We are just having fun."

The classes take place on the Guthrie Green dock, except for barre, which is held inside Fly Loft at 117 N Boston Ave. All workouts are led by certified YMCA instructors and other fitness professionals.

Mack said the people she has met through Fitness on the Green have become some of her closest friends.

"We go to birthday parties or baby showers together or just hangout and so it has been a really cool experience to have that," she added.
