Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office investigating after human remains found

The Pottawatomie County sheriff says they are investigating after a person found human remains while looking property on Thursday.

The sheriff's office says deputies responded to the call near Tucker Road and Highway 177 and located the remains.

They say the search is suspended due to the dark, and they will resume Friday morning with the medical examiner and K9s.

It's unknown at this time if foul play was involved.
