Man fatally struck by vehicle near Sulphur

One person is dead after being struck by a vehicle Wednesday evening near Sulphur, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol says.

One person is dead after they were hit by a car near Sulphur on Wednesday, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

OHP said 81-year-old David Supernaw was walking near US Highway 177 and Cedar Blue Road at around 7 p.m. when he was hit by 55-year-old John Harden, who was travelling northbound.

Supernaw was pronounced dead at the scene.
