More than two hundred new affordable housing units could be going up in downtown Oklahoma City if approved by the city council on Tuesday.
Oklahoma City Council members are scheduled to vote on the project, known as "Alley's End," which would be the largest affordable housing project in the state.
The developer is asking the city for $2 million to help fund the $50 million project located near Northwest 4th Street and E.K. Gaylord Boulevard
If approved, that funding from the city would be coming from bond money already set aside for affordable housing.
