1 Dead After Collision With Deer On SH51

A Guthrie man has died after colliding with a deer on State Highway 51, according to Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Robert Lazar was traveling eastbound in SH51 on a motorcycle when he collided with a deer. The collision occurred near Western Avenue, in Logan County.

Lazar was pronounced deceased from the injuries sustained in the collision on the scene by medical personnel.

OHP reported that Lazar was wearing a helmet.
